We visited Probotix’s open house to help them show what FTC really is. We were there with 3 teams: Probotix, Tectura, and us, The encrypted gentlemen. We had a lot of fun explaining what we do as a team and what FTC is to all the children and parents who were at the open house. We cooperated with Probotix to give the people a demo of what a FTC robot can do and if they had any questions afterwards, we answered the question outside of the classroom on the hallway where we were situated. This meant that there was a constant flow of people passing by our pit while we were hard at work or answering questions. All in all it was a fun day to hang-out with Probotix and Techtura to catch-up on what they have done this season so far and to help all the people who came to visit the open house.
Wij zijn naar Probotix hun open dag gegaan om hun te helpen om te laten zien wat FTC echt inhoud. Wij waren er met 3 teams: Probotix, Techtura en wij, The encrypted gentlemen. Wij hadden het er erg gezellig daar ook om uit te leggen wat wij doen als een team en wat FTC is aan alle kinderen en ouders die bij de open dag er waren. Wij hebben samengewerkt met Probotix om de mensen een demo te geven wat een FTC robot van doen en als ze vragen hadden achteraf, dan beantwoorde we deze vragen buiten het klaslokaal op de gang waar wij onze werkplek hadden. Dit betekende dat er een constante stroom van mensen langs onze pit liepen terwijl wij daar hard aan het werken waren of vragen aan het beantwoorden waren. In het geheel was het een leuke dag om met Probotix en Techtura uit te hangen en om bij te praten wat ze dit seizoen zover al hebben gedaan en om iedereen te helpen die er bij de open dag was.
